The focus of the members of Mercadex's team is to accelerate the client firm’s sales cycle and improve profitability in international markets. At any time during the internationalization process, should a problem or obstacle represent a major impediment for our firms, Mercadex does not hesitate to invest time and money in research in order to prescribe corrective action.

During the last decade, we have led four R&D projects that have culminated in the development of three internationalization tools that play an integral role in the Mercadex Internationalization Method (MIM).

Aside from the practical and tangible results that these tools offer enterprises, their main principles are taught at several business schools here and abroad. The results from Mercadex’s R&D projects have been published in various management journals and many international business books and articles refer to this research.
